I am 50. I am (still) madly in love with my husband of 20 years. We met in a pub. I was a single mother of a teenage boy when he met me. I was actually still married but separated when we met. I hadn't done any work on myself...I hadn't travelled, was in debt, so-so career (I didn't have the luxury of a career as a single mother I simply had to put food on the table)....I dare say he had not done any work on himself. I did not use guidelines, I used my common sense and my instincts - as did he. We work as a team. We work hard and we work well as a team. We have grown as individuals within this team and outside of our team - now our family. He expects nothing of me - I don't 'expect' anything from him. I know he will always put me first - otherwise I would have moved on in the early days. This is the key - I invested in him early on - so what if I got my heart broken - I took a chance, I went all in. I didn't 'test' him or play games. I was honest. He could have broken my heart - others have (including my first husband), but so what. Who wants a sterile 'pure' life with no heart ache and no passion? My heart is not something to protect - it is something to use! I make it work hard. It will mend. He is a provider. He makes me laugh. He has a strong work ethic. He will never lie. He is an intelligent multi-dimensional (not just sex focussed) individual and I am immensely proud to be his wife, and the mother of his son. I look forward to seeing him everyday, so much. We have fought, screamed, hated each other but we love each other deeply. I have not missed out on anything. He facilitates my growth as I do his. He is my best friend. I could not imagine my life without my husband and want for nothing. I hope women never give up on men.

He is the ONLY One who could live and die and RISE a third time as a worthy sacrifice for sins. So, please, it is a sin to manifest. I struggle with idolatry and loving God's gifts more than Himself. But everyone needs to completely trust in God even when negative things happen. Jesus is the only salvation from eternal damnation and Hell. Not manifestations. He gives us true joy!! Thank you!

You havent given up on men, MEN have given up on YOU. 1. You still desire to be married and in a relationship with a man like you said. 2. If the man of your dreams, who met all your criteria decided he wanted to marry you and be with you, you would marry him. Youre not the source of mens desires. Youre a 34yo single mother. Youre in the undesirable category. Youre solution to your lack of desirability on the dating market is to withhold and manipulate sex to entice a man into a relationship/commitment with you which ultimately is going to have the opposite effect and push men away from you leading to you dying alone. Terrible advice.

This is a classic example of single women keeping other women single. Can you see how doing what she suggests would lead to being single. No prioritising marriage no how to find the right qualities in men. Just me me me me. Young women ignore Thai single mom. Find a good man ask your father.

I’ll be 30 this year and my story is the same. I’m a single mom of 1 and I’ve decided dating is just not on my radar. I am open, I’d love to be married one day. However, I’ve decided it’s not my center focus and not a very high priority. My daughter and I are my center focus, including God lol though not in that order.
